this role serves as a key liaison between the organization + the public, building + nurturing relationships, focusing on raising awareness + encouraging people to actively connect with and support the foundation’s mission.

this role centers on telling the organization’s story in a way that inspires action, using both traditional marketing tactics + digital strategies to amplify the foundation’s mission + impact, increase awareness and engagement around its cause + advance fundraising goals by driving interest + participation in campaigns, events + donation opportunities.

this role focuses on identifying + evaluating potential donors – including individuals + corporations – to support fundraising initiatives, while also conducting in-depth research on resources that support black maternal + infant health. responsibilities include developing insights to inform funding strategies + clearly communicating research findings to internal teams, partner organizations + the public in order to raise awareness, influence decision-making + drive meaningful change.

this role involves planning, coordinating + executing a variety of events with a dual focus on seamless logistics + stewardship. additionally, it includes researching and identifying companies to partner with for sponsorships + collaborations.
